About United Nations

The United Nations stands as a global sentinel for cooperation, championing diplomacy over conflict and unity over division. Committed to fostering peace, development, and human rights, it transcends borders to address the world's most pressing challenges, epitomizing the collective aspirations of humanity toward a harmonious and just world.

Your role

Organization setting & reporting:

The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), a knowledge-based organization, sets international standards for aviation safety, navigation, security, and environmental protection. The Revenue and Product Management (RPM) Section within the Technical Cooperation Bureau (TCB) focuses on revenue-generating activities like publications, training, and events to support ICAO's strategic objectives. The Product Management Unit (PTM) identifies opportunities, conducts marketing efforts, and collaborates with RPM units to achieve revenue targets.

The intern will work closely with the rest of the unit to:

  • Support in the design of ICAO event branding through the development of brand guidelines, flyers, booths, programs, and others. Also, assist in creating marketing collaterals for the event application and newsletters;
  • Assist in designing ICAO publication issues: editing current covers and conceptualizing new ones;
  • Manipulate and edit images to create compelling thumbnails for ICAO TV’s videos;
  • Assist in developing new layout designs for digital marketing materials, such as newsletters, landing pages, website banners, and social media images;
  • Collaborate with the marketing team and/or Product Managers to develop other supporting materials;
  • Contribute to organizing the ongoing updates to the ICAO’s digital asset management, photo library and other digital marketing tools;
  • Offer suggestions and feedback for continuous improvement of campaigns;
  • Perform other related duties.
