About PwC

At PwC, we work together to create a better tomorrow for our people, our clients, and the communities we serve. We approach problems with curiosity, challenging the status quo to develop innovative solutions in partnership with Australian businesses and not-for-profits. Together, we strive to make a positive impact and drive meaningful change.

That’s where our people come in. Whether you’re just beginning your career or have plenty of experience under your belt, we believe your unique perspective can help us to deliver valued insights that make a real impact. Here, you’ll be surrounded by peers who have your back and leaders who support you, in an environment that encourages continuous learning and growth.

What does it mean to be a PwC Graduate?

When joining us as a Graduate, you'll launch your career by solving important problems - for our clients, our business and our communities. You'll use your degree in ways you never expected.

If you’re in your final year of study or have completed an undergraduate or postgraduate degree, being a PwC Graduate offers you a full-time placement. Accelerate your career by tackling challenges with some of the largest organisations within Australia and thrive within your business area through continuous growth and learning opportunities.

Your Future Team

In the Cybersecurity & Privacy team, you'll thrive in a culture that values curiosity, collaboration, and critical thinking. Working with your peers, you'll tackle challenges like managing cyber risk and privacy in a complex, interconnected world, identifying security weaknesses, strengthening defences, and preparing organisations for potential breaches. Your problem-solving skills, integrity, and growth mindset will make a significant impact on clients in sectors such as Financial Services, Energy, Utilities & Natural Resources, Retail, Consumer, and Technology Products. Along the way, you'll build relationships and skills for lifelong success.

What will a normal day look like?

  • Be working with leading Australian organisations to help them understand their biggest cyber risk exposures.
  • Work with a multidisciplinary team of cyber specialists, passionate about helping clients uplift their cyber resilience and better defend against cyber threats.
  • Have the ability to expand your horizons across other cybersecurity domains, to help you find the specialisation you are truly passionate about in the long term.

As a graduate in our Cybersecurity & Privacy team, you’ll need a degree in Technology, Science or Business. You’ll also need to be either an AU citizen, NZ citizen, AU Permanent Resident or an international student with a work rights visa.

Anticipated start date is February 24th, 2025.

Your New Benefits

  • Flexible working arrangements including working from home or from a different PwC Australia base office
  • More opportunities to connect with loved ones, with the ability to work up to four weeks from anywhere in Australia and select international locations
  • Health and lifestyle perks like a wellness credit and discounted memberships
  • More family time with 26 weeks paid parental leave
  • World-class development opportunities to accelerate your career
  • Strong mentors, meaningful work and plenty of networking opportunities
  • Dress for your day so you can feel confident and comfortable for whatever your day has in store for you

Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion

To solve important problems we need diverse talent. We empower our people to use their creativity, authenticity and human differences to be the champions of change. We know that when people from diverse backgrounds and with different points of view work together, we create the most value - for our clients, our people and our society. If you don’t think you quite meet all of the qualifications, we’d still love to hear from you.

I get to learn new things every day, which means my job is never boring. It’s also a very hands-on role, where I get to work directly with clients, grow my skills and see the impact of what I do.
