Your role

Job Description:

This internship program is designed to build on your university studies. You'll join the Energy Underwriting team and develop expertise across the whole breadth of insurance, from understanding, assessing, and reducing risk, to claims, pricing, and insurance frameworks – all with a focus on sustainable energy. This will help you build a great foundation for your future career.

About you

What You’ll Need:

• A passion for Sustainability
• You must have an indefinite, full right to work and reside in the UK. Zurich cannot accept applications from those who require sponsorship to work in the UK. You must have resided in the UK for a minimum of three consecutive years.
• Although Zurich is a hybrid workforce, you should be within a commutable distance of the office workplace stated in this advert.
• Be in your penultimate year of undergraduate study and predict a minimum of 2:1 from your bachelor's or equivalent degree.
• At least 96 UCAS points – CCC grades (or equivalent) from 3 A-level subjects
• A* to C grade (9 to 4) in Maths and English GCSE
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to study for further professional qualifications

Training & development

This is all underpinned by a 10-week structured development program as well as the chance to work on a UK-wide intern project where you will work with other interns across the business. To ensure you have the best start, a dedicated buddy will be on hand to support you throughout your summer with Zurich.

Zurich's summer internships are ideal for undergraduate students. As well as gaining some great experience, successful completion of your internship in 2025 could lead to you being offered a place in one of the graduate programs starting in 2026.
