In the Data and Analytics program, no two days will be the same. You'll use data and a range of the latest technologies to help solve business challenges and proactively identify areas of opportunity. Driving innovation and business change through the intelligent use of data is critical to future success.

About you

What You’ll Need:

  • Zurich is looking for people who are good with numbers are passionate about the opportunities that using data presents and can demonstrate intellectual curiosity.
  • You will be able to work independently and as part of a team, have a passion for coding, and problem-solving, and are comfortable presenting insights back to business stakeholders.
  • Although the company is a hybrid workforce, you should be within a commutable distance of the office workplace stated in this advert. 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to build strong working relationships

Entry Requirements:

  • You must have recently achieved (within the last three years) or are on track to achieve a 2.1 (or above) from your bachelor's or equivalent degree.
  • You must have achieved at least 112 UCAS points (BBC) or above from your A-Levels (Or equivalent).
  • A minimum C/4 grade in both English & Maths at GCSE level (or equivalent).
  • You must have an indefinite, full right to work and reside in the UK. Zurich cannot accept applications from those who require sponsorship to work in the UK. You must have resided in the UK for a minimum of three consecutive years.

Training, development & rotations

This two-and-a-half-year program consists of several rotations across the Chief Data Office, where you'll be supported by industry experts across Data Science, Data Engineering, and Visualisation & Insights. The program will enable you to develop into a future data and analytics expert, you will learn a range of skills from building new data pipelines, analyzing data, and using storytelling to present Insights back to the business, to building machine learning models and artificial intelligence processes. This is an opportunity to help Zurich shape the future of the organization using data to power decision-making.

As well as in-house training, you'll also learn from extremely talented and knowledgeable colleagues across the different rotations and have access to the existing data and analytics graduate cohort.

Career progression

By the end of the graduate program, you will achieve an industry-recognized qualification too, a master's in Applied Data Analytics. The degree will consist of several modules including computer programming, statistics, and machine learning. You will be able to take this learning and apply it to deliver long-lasting business and customer outcomes.
