Your role

Job Description:

Zurich aims to develop future change and technology leaders who understand the breadth of its business and can contribute to excellent customer experience. You will be assigned to a project or a workstream, where you will be able to see firsthand how Zurich manages change in the business with the chance to take ownership of discrete elements of the delivery yourself.

About you

What You’ll Need:

  • Although Zurich is a hybrid workforce, you should be within a commutable distance of the office workplace stated in this advert
  • An interest in working in technology is desirable but an IT-related degree is not required
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to build strong working relationships
  • Ability to grasp complex concepts in a business environment
  • To be flexible and responsive in a varied role, where no day is ever the same and you could be working with people and partners based all over the world.

Entry Requirements:

  • You must currently be in your penultimate year at university and be on track to receive a 2:1 degree in any undergraduate discipline
  • At least 96 UCAS points – CCC grades (or equivalent) from 3 A-level subjects excluding general studies
  • A* to C grade (9 to 4) in Maths and English GCSE
  • You must have an indefinite, full right to work and reside in the UK. Zurich cannot accept applications from those who require sponsorship to work in the UK. You must have resided in the UK for a minimum of three consecutive years.

Compensation & benefits

As well as joining a company that is passionate about sustainability and the customers, you can expect:

  • £21,840 pro rata salary
  • Pro rata holiday for the duration of your internship
  • Contribution towards private medical cover
  • 12% company pension contribution
  • Access to other flexible benefits

Training & development

The 10-week summer programs give you a real job with real responsibility and a taste of life working in Zurich. With plenty of support around you, you’ll experience how your future career might look and help Zurich make a difference to the customers at a time when they need the firm the most. There will be plenty of opportunity and time to explore other roles within the change function and get to understand the wider business and how Zurich could support your career post-university.

Career progression

Zurich's summer internships are ideal for undergraduate students. As well as gaining some great experience, successful completion of your internship in 2025 could lead to you being offered a place in one of the graduate programs starting in 2026.
