Your role

This role involves identifying and cultivating partnerships with corporations, foundations, and other organizations to secure funding and support for WWF's conservation initiatives. Responsibilities include developing proposals, negotiating agreements, and maintaining relationships with donors and stakeholders. This pivotal role plays a crucial part in enabling WWF to sustain and expand its conservation efforts through strategic partnerships and effective fundraising activities.

Responsibilities:

Lead acquisition

  • To generate new leads through various channels like LinkedIn, Digital Marketing, and events /workshops for acquiring new donors & to work with various channels such as Donor Relations, Digital Marketing, Tele-Facing teams of WWF-India, external agencies, and donor networks to obtain data and insights for a better understanding of mid-segment donors.

Lead conversion

  • To design a detailed middle donor program and strategy focusing on initiatives & and approaches to acquire, retain, and upgrade them.
  • Convert potential leads into active donors through consistent efforts, coordination, and planning.

Donor relationship management

  • Manage external communication & and build relationships with donors via different channels.
  • Maintain the quality of communication with donors through regular monitoring & and training.
  • Develop outreach plans that demonstrate donor appreciation, recognition & and engagement.
  • Collaborate with relevant internal teams on creative design, messaging & data segmentation for mid-level prospect communication.
