WSP is currently looking for an Intern in the Characterization and Rehabilitation of Contaminated Land to join their Contaminated Sites team, located in their Montreal office. This position is within the Environment division of WSP.

What you can expect to do here:

  • Support project managers.
  • Participate in planning fieldwork and health and safety plans.
  • Ensure environmental monitoring of rehabilitation work.
  • Provide support for the following fieldwork exploration trenches, environmental drilling, installation of observation wells, and environmental sampling of soils and groundwater.
  • Carry out information collection and data compilation.
  • Participate in the analysis and interpretation of data.

Training & development

The intern will work within a multidisciplinary team dedicated to earth sciences. The Contaminated Sites team provides a full range of services to resolve contaminated soil and groundwater issues for clients in the private and public sectors.

About you

What you’ll bring to WSP:

  • Bachelor's degree in geology or environmental engineering, geological engineering or civil engineering in progress or other environmental specialities.
  • Hold the ASP Construction Card at the start of the internship.
  • Possess a valid driving license.
  • Available to work in remote areas.
  • Autonomous, methodical, responsible, resourceful and punctual person.
