Purpose:

As part of the Worley Graduate Community and under close supervision and mentorship within the structural engineering department, you will experience the delivery of engineering services to Worley and its customers.

This position offers you excellent opportunities to learn and grow through hands-on project experience with a team of seasoned engineers and technical experts.  This internship position is based near Denver, CO, and is anticipated to start in May or June 2025.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the delivery of structural engineering services that meet Worley's, its customers, and applicable statutory and regulatory specifications, on time and within budget.
  • Assist in performing structural engineering services such as:
    • contribute to appropriate studies, analyses, and recommend actions; and
    • assist with the preparation of detailed designs and drawings, specifications, data, calculations, and reports.
  • Communicate effectively with the structural engineering team and project stakeholders.

What you will bring

Technical/Industry Experience and Qualifications Requirements: 

  • Some knowledge of technical and practical structural engineering skills.
  • Some knowledge of the fundamental requirements of structural engineering, and the basic requirements of other engineering fields.
  • Developing skills in structural engineering-specific software.
  • Competent in the use of relevant software such as MS Office.

Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:

Required:

  • Undertaking a recognized, relevant structural engineering degree or equivalent that will lead to registration as a professional engineer.

Additional information:

  • Pay: $23.26 - $34.20 per hour commensurate with experience
