Your role

This is an entry-level position for a new graduate Electrical Engineer.  As part of the Worley Graduate Community and under supervision and mentorship within the electrical engineering department, you will assist in the delivery of engineering services to Worley and its clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver electrical engineering services and applicable statutory and regulatory specifications, on time and within budget.

Perform electrical engineering services such as:

  • Contribute to appropriate studies, analyses, and recommended actions.
  • Assist with the preparation of detailed designs and drawings, specifications, data, calculations, and reports.
  • Communicate effectively with the electrical engineering team and project stakeholders, including the customer.
  • Identify issues and problems, develop appropriate solutions, and ask for assistance if required.

Training & development

As an Engineer, you will develop skills in delivering electrical engineering services adhering to regulatory specifications while gaining hands-on experience in conducting studies, preparing designs, and effectively communicating with project stakeholders. You'll also cultivate problem-solving abilities, learning to identify and address issues collaboratively within the electrical engineering team.

About you

What you will bring

Technical and Industry Experience: 

  • Technical and practical electrical engineering skills.
  • Knowledge of the fundamental requirements of electrical engineering, and the basic requirements of other engineering fields.
  • Developing skills in electrical engineering-specific software.
  • Some skills in the use of relevant software such as MS Office, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Required:

A recognized and relevant Electrical Engineering degree.

Preferred: 

Equivalent that will lead to registration as a Professional Engineer.
