WRI India is conducting research and building a coalition of stakeholders to reduce food loss and waste in India. They are looking for an exceptional intern to support their research.
Responsibilities
Secondary Research and Documentation
Conducted research and collaborated with team members to support secondary research on reducing food losses.
Support in identifying relevant stakeholders, ongoing initiatives on reducing food losses, and conducting stakeholder consultations.
Design a framework and build a database through a literature review on food loss measurement. Output – excel database
About you
Skills and qualifications
Any Master, preferably Food, Environment, Economics, or Rural Development (pursuing also)
Understanding of agriculture and scale of food losses in India
Proficiency in MS Office – Word, Excel & PowerPoint
Ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner
Self-starter who can work independently
Experience in preparing reports and presenting findings.
Excellent recordkeeping and communication skills.
Good report writing skills.
