Your role

WRI India is conducting research and building a coalition of stakeholders to reduce food loss and waste in India. They are looking for an exceptional intern to support their research.

Responsibilities

Secondary Research and Documentation

  • Conducted research and collaborated with team members to support secondary research on reducing food losses.
  • Support in identifying relevant stakeholders, ongoing initiatives on reducing food losses, and conducting stakeholder consultations.
  • Design a framework and build a database through a literature review on food loss measurement. Output – excel database 

About you

Skills and qualifications

  • Any Master, preferably Food, Environment, Economics, or Rural Development (pursuing also)
  • Understanding of agriculture and scale of food losses in India
  • Proficiency in MS Office – Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • Self-starter who can work independently
  • Experience in preparing reports and presenting findings.
  • Excellent recordkeeping and communication skills.
  • Good report writing skills.

Stipend

  • Location: Delhi/remote 
  • Duration: 2 Months
