Here at Woolies, we have a team called Proactive Services that ensures trolleys are available to use and that our stores are in pristine condition - this enables our Customers (and your colleagues) to experience an environment that is hygienically clean to work and shop in. You’ll work side-by-side with your team whilst bringing a little good to everyone, every day.
What this role does:
Reporting into the Facilities Manager , you’ll lead a group of Team Members (between 10-40 depending on store size) to deliver our trolley collection and cleaning services to a set store. You and the team will collect trolleys from specific locations along with completing the set daily tasks associated with the store cleaning and waste services. As the Team Lead, you’ll develop your leadership capability by delivering all the people-related activities for your team and partnering with multiple stakeholders to deliver exceptional services.

It’s important to note that this is a physically demanding role that requires you to work in and outside of your store in different elements (e.g. shop floor, fridges, freezers, carparks, etc) so it is essential that you are comfortable with these aspects of the role.
Ideally you’ll already have some form of supervisory or team leader experience, however if you’re an aspiring Team Leader we would very much encourage you to apply!
This role is all about developing your leadership skills and so you’ll have direct support from your Facilities Manager to help guide you as you develop this skill set.

This full time salaried role is best suited to an individual with flexible availability to work across early mornings, days, and late nights Monday to Sunday.
