About Welcome2Africa International

Welcome2Africa International is a trade and investment facilitation company with a special focus on Nigeria’s Agricultural and Maritime Sector. They support investors, multinationals, and key stakeholders within and outside Africa to advance their trade and investment goals, by providing an array of services and programs.

Your role

They offer an internship program enabling students from diverse academic backgrounds to experience work with an international organization.

How Will You Make Impact?

The perception of Africa has been laced with negative stereotypes by people all around the world and whilst there are indeed challenges associated with the business, investment, and trade opportunities in Africa, one cannot deny the enormous potential that exists in Africa ranging from infrastructure, telecoms, minerals, education, and Agriculture.

At W2A, you will recognize the challenges associated with accessing the array of trade and investment opportunities. You will help reshape the image of the continent you belong to, you will participate in driving sustainable mutually beneficial investments and trade into and across Africa.

Training & development

The Internship Program runs for between six to twelve months and is designed to:

  • Provide a framework to support students assigned to any Welcome2Africa department so that the focus remains on enriching the student's experience
  • Provide an immersive experience so that students gain practical experience of working for an international organization
  • Provide the opportunity for students to understand the Welcome2Africa vision, mission and core values
