Volvo is currently seeking students to work with its production teams as a Digitalization Co-Op for the Quality Team. Candidates should be prepared to work in a challenging and fast-paced environment, gaining experience and knowledge in various aspects of Digitalization and Quality. As a valued member of the team within GTO, interns will have the opportunity to work with various areas of Group Trucks Operations focusing on Digitalization while utilizing their education and continuous improvement mindset. GTO’s goal is to contribute to their development and provide an opportunity to work in a business environment within the manufacturing industry.
Position Responsibilities

Data Analysis and Quality Improvement
Data analysis focus on standards and repeatability
Help facilitate continuous improvement and identify opportunities to implement
Assist in follow-up, reports and flow charts.
Participate in functional meetings.

Education and Program Requirements
Applicant must be currently enrolled and pursuing a Computer Science or Mechanical Engineering degree, with preferred specializations in Digitalization or Data Analytics.
Completed 30 semester hours of undergraduate studies prior to the start of the co-op.
Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75.
Co-ops may work up to 40 hours during the spring term.
Co-op positions require the student to be enrolled in an off-campus course for which they receive course credit or academic transcript notation from the university/college.
Strong communication skills are required.
Valid US work authorization is necessary.
Compensation & Benefits
The salary range for this role is $16.00 - $46.00 per hour.
