Their team, Project & Product Strategy Office (PPSO), is part of Volvo Group Trucks Technology (GTT), a division of Volvo Group North America, provides state-of-the-art research, engineering, product planning, and project execution for the final delivery of complete products and support of the products in the aftermarket.
PPSO is responsible for technology strategies and strategic product planning for the Volvo Group as well as for project management of product change introductions (Intro Blocks).
What you will be doing:
As a Project & Product Strategy Intern, you will support Chief Project Managers launch Volvo projects.
You will interact with many different areas of the company and learn the details of how projects are managed within Volvo.

You will report to the Program Management Office Director.
Responsibilities:
Document and follow up on critical actions from project meetings.
Support with updating and maintaining project documents (risk register, lessons learned log, project deliverables tracking tool, project description, SharePoint, etc.).
Assist in running and updating reports and presentations for reporting to management.
Work with other business areas to ensure the information in their report system and project tracking documents are up-to-date.
Support with updating and maintaining the project time plans.
Assisting with meeting project milestones.
Supporting with data analysis/analytics and presentations of results in PowerBI, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
Own and execute the special project(s) assigned (dependent on project availability and personal profile & interests).
About you
Who are you:
You are a student who is prepared to work in a challenging and fast-paced environment, gaining experience and knowledge in various aspects of project management and project support in addition to engineering (mechanical, electrical, software, design, production, etc.).
As a valued member of the Program Office team within GTT, you will have the opportunity to work directly with the experienced project managers in the department and with all areas of the company (engineering, purchasing, operations, sales, aftermarket, etc.).
Required Qualifications:
Must be enrolled and pursuing a degree in Business/Engineering or related program at an accredited school and have completed 30 semester hours of undergraduate studies.
Applicants must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75.
Co-ops are not enrolled in academic courses during their co-op rotation and may work up to 40 hours per week.

The hourly range is set at $16.00 - $46.00.
