Your Role

What you will do:

The Co-Op will report directly to the CFO & VP, Finance & Business Control. In this position, you would assist the Finance team in streamlining the internal financial processes, mapping and structuring the existing processes while challenging the current situation and identifying and leading the continuous improvement efforts within the Finance team.

This opportunity would engage you in working and learning from different functions, enhancing continuous improvement, business, and financial management skills. You would be responsible for:

  • Streamlining internal business control processes, mapping and documenting existing processes and activities while identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Leading automation and digitalization projects, transforming existing procedures into more efficient and effective ways of working. 
  • Working with other functional areas that interface with our team to identify key enablers to improve the Business Control service and performance level. 
  • Building automated dashboards and visual management tools that allow the team to quickly visualize financial results and reports. 
  • Supporting the Business Control team on daily critical activities as needed.

About You

In this role, you will bring:

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • Applicant must have completed a bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Analytics, or similar at an accredited school prior to the start of the Co-Op.  
  • Applicant must be actively enrolled in a formal master's degree program at an accredited school in any of the areas mentioned above.
  • Co-ops may work up to 40 hours per week and are not actively enrolled in academic courses during their co-op period. They will be receiving an academic credit or notation for the co-op.
  • Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75.

Expected Commitment:

  • This Co-Op may work up to 40 hours per week during the Fall 2024 semester, with the specific working schedule to be agreed upon with the hiring manager.
