Your role

Position Objective

The Mack Enterprise Architecture Internship will be responsible for working with various internal and external stakeholders and partners. Activities include but are not limited to: business process analysis, information flow and application analysis and documentation, support of projects to create As-Is as well as strategic and tactical IT application landscapes and transformation scenarios.

Main Tasks:

• Supports projects with As-Is information and To-Be documentation, accomplished through observation and interviews
• Captures, documents, categorizes, and summarizes observations and interviews
• Creates IT process maps and landscapes from information gathered
• Documents results in Global Enterprise architecture tools
• Discusses and aligns gathered information with Global teams and other Volvo Group Brands
• Presents landscapes and transformation roadmaps to stakeholders

• Applicants should be proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, especially Excel
• Strong analytic skills and problem-solving skills
• Advanced business communication and documentation skills.
• Teamwork and collaboration skills
• Self-starter with a willingness to learn new tools in an international environment

Minimum Education Requirements:

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor's in computer science, data science, business management or information systems management at an accredited school.
• Applicants must have completed a minimum of 30 semester hours prior to the start of the internship.
• Applicants should have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75.
• Spring interns can work up to 30 hours per week. 
• Strong preference for Junior/Senior undergraduate students. 

Compensation & Benefits

The salary range for this role is $16.00 - $46.00 per hour.

Training & Development

The internship position is for the Spring of 2025, starting beginning of January 2025, ending beginning of May 2025. Volvo provides accessible training on a broad range of topics, including fundamental and role-specific subjects. All training programs are conducted through Volvo’s personalized and collaborative learning portal, Navigator, which accelerates competence development and engages interns in their learning and sharing journey.
