They are currently looking for students to work with their production teams as interns. You should be prepared to work in a challenging environment, gaining experience and knowledge in various aspects of the VPS Volvo Production System.

What you will do:
Circular Operations and Solutions is the truck industrial entity within the Volvo Group Trucks Operations (GTO) responsible for Truck manufacturing, including Cab & Vehicle Assembly, Powertrain Production, Logistics Services, Parts Distribution and Remanufacturing. Middletown’s group function is Powertrain Production.
Position responsibilities:
Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing solutions.
Help facilitate continuous improvement through data analysis and indicator management.
Assist in the development of skills management training.
Help with the organization of the VPS SharePoint.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and drive project execution
Document processes, workflows, and project outcomes
Participate in workshops and training sessions on continuous improvement and digitalization
About you
Minimum education requirements:
Applicant must be currently enrolled and pursuing a business administration, industrial engineering, or related degree at an accredited school and have completed 30 semester hours of undergraduate studies before the start of the internship.
Fall Interns may work up to 30 hours per week and must be enrolled as full-time students.
Applicants must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75.

Strong communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerBi, PowerPoint).
Background in Lean methodology.
Data analytics and visualization.

The compensation for the role will range from $16.00 to $46.00 per hour.
