Your role

What will you be doing

  • You'll be responsible for adding value and support to the Procurement team to ensure requests and processes are fulfilled.
  • You’ll get the opportunity to support functional project work, negotiations with suppliers and direct involvement with cost reduction activities. 

About you

What do you need

To be successful in this role:

  • You must have a high attention to detail and possess good time management skills.
  • You'll have strong numerical, analytical and Excel skills together with robust verbal reasoning and communication skills.
  • The placement is open to any university student who is eligible to work full-time in the UK for twelve months from June 2025.
  • You should be on a sandwich degree or course which offers a one-year industrial placement.
  • Volkswagen believes all employees should have a good work/life balance and wouldn't want you to spend a large amount of time commuting, so Volkswagen requires the undergraduates to be based within a reasonable distance from the Milton Keynes head office.
