You'll be responsible for adding value and support to the Procurement team to ensure requests and processes are fulfilled.
You’ll get the opportunity to support functional project work, negotiations with suppliers and direct involvement with cost reduction activities.
About you
What do you need
To be successful in this role:
You must have a high attention to detail and possess good time management skills.
You'll have strong numerical, analytical and Excel skills together with robust verbal reasoning and communication skills.
The placement is open to any university student who is eligible to work full-time in the UK for twelve months from June 2025.
You should be on a sandwich degree or course which offers a one-year industrial placement.
Volkswagen believes all employees should have a good work/life balance and wouldn't want you to spend a large amount of time commuting, so Volkswagen requires the undergraduates to be based within a reasonable distance from the Milton Keynes head office.
