Your role

What will you be doing

• You’ll play a key part in the teams’ ambition to have a qualified network, with the capability to deliver. People are paramount in delivering a consistent and excellent experience to all customers.
• You’ll support the team to ensure they have the right people with the right skills, knowledge and attitude in the right role in the network.
• You’ll coordinate, compile and maintain key data, reports and presentations.
• You’ll be part of projects to drive the people's agenda.
• You’ll support key stakeholders across the business, providing insight into all elements of the employee life cycle, with a particular focus on development.

To be successful in this role:

• You’ll have an interest in people development.
• You’ll enjoy working in a strategic role supporting projects to add value to the people in the network.
• You must enjoy gathering and analysing data and be proactive in your approach.
• You need to have a keen eye for detail and enjoy working as part of a team as well as be motivated to drive your own agenda.
• The placement is open to any university student who is eligible to work full-time in the UK for twelve months from June 2025.
• You should be on a sandwich degree or course which offers a one-year industrial placement.
• Volkswagen believes all employees should have a good work/life balance and wouldn't want you to spend a large amount of time commuting, so Volkswagen requires the undergraduates to be based within a reasonable distance from the Milton Keynes head office.
