This placement has three roles in this stream and you will be asked for your preference if invited to the assessment centre:
People operations
Working as the first point of contact for the business, you will be advising the managers on a range of queries and policies to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations.
Talent, development and communications
In this role, you’ll provide proactive administration and project support across the Talent & Development and Internal Communications teams.
People data
In this role, you'll support in developing and producing accurate, timely, and meaningful data analysis and reporting to the people team and wider business. This is to continually enhance the HR strategy and support in providing people data insights in key identified areas.
About you
What do you need
To be successful in this role:
You'll need to be a strong team player with the ability to adapt and analyse information to make sound recommendations.
You'll be proactive, positive and delivery-focused, with effective communication skills both verbally and in writing.
The placement is open to any university student who is eligible to work full-time in the UK for twelve months from June 2025.
You should be on a sandwich degree or course which offers a one-year industrial placement.
Volkswagen believes all employees should have a good work/life balance and wouldn't want you to spend a large amount of time commuting, so Volkswagen requires the undergraduates to be based within a reasonable distance from the Milton Keynes head office.
