Your role

What will you be doing

• Strong financial performance is the foundation of any business's success, driving development and growth.
• Working in a group function you will be uniquely placed to support the wider business including the iconic brands.
• You'll gain insight into a broad spectrum of financial fundamentals including budgeting, financial analysis, treasury and payroll.

What do you need

To be successful in this role:

• You'll need to have strong numerical, analytical and Excel skills together with robust verbal reasoning and communication.
• You won't be afraid to interact with people across the business and work to achieve your goals in time and to a high standard.
• The placement is open to any university student who is eligible to work full-time in the UK for twelve months from June 2025.
• You should be on a sandwich degree or course which offers a one-year industrial placement.
• Volkswagen believes all employees should have a good work/life balance and wouldn't want you to spend a large amount of time commuting, so Volkswagen requires the undergraduates to be based within a reasonable distance from the Milton Keynes head office.

• A new car every six months (as long as you have a full, clean UK driving licence)
