Your role

Volkswagen Group Australia is looking for a Product Planning Intern to join their team for a period of 12 months. This is an exciting 12-month full-time internship opportunity based in their Sydney head office in Zetland, reporting to the Product Planning team.

The main responsibilities include (not limited to):

  • Management of all customer and dealer-facing POS (Point Of Sale)
  • Compilation and management of Australian specification sheets
  • Showroom literature management (silent salesman management and development)
  • Media information pack contribution (As-tested management and development)
  • Colour and trim presenter dealer distribution and maintenance
  • Monitor and management of new POS material
  • Asset management of the product image library
  • Management of online car configurator media system
  • Invoice processing
  • Support and assist the product team with upcoming model launches
  • Adhoc duties as required by the product team

About you

To succeed in this role, candidates will need to possess the following:

  • Students nearing the completion of their degree or a recent graduate in either; engineering, business, commerce or marketing
  • Ability to commit to the twelve (12-month internship on a full-time basis (5 days per week/37.5 hours)
  • A passion for automotive/interest in cars and a general understanding of vehicle architecture and systems
  • Excellent proven communication and interpersonal skills
  • Accuracy, speed and high attention to detail
  • Ability to problem solve and work independently
  • Ability to content develop with creative communication and written skills
  • Highly developed skills in all MS applications (specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Highly organised with the ability to cope with stressful situations and deadlines from time to time
