Your role

The key objective of this position is to provide operational Human Resources support to deliver the HR strategy. Critical components of this role include – Supporting the VGA HRBPs, assisting and supporting the team with employee records and records management, reporting, HR communications. This role is also responsible for providing implementation support for learning and development and health & wellbeing programs and providing general HR support to the HR team and employees.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Supporting the VGA Work Health & Safety Lead to ensure VGA remains a safe place to work and is compliant with WHS requirements.
  • Support the VGA HR Business Partners with the execution of HR processes
  • Assisting with annual employee engagement and feedback surveys and engagement initiatives
  • Researching and sourcing current H&W initiatives
  • Records management
  • Assistance and administration support for VGA’s HR System, SuccessFactors
  • Assisting with Learning & Development programs and working with our external learning partners. 
  • Provide general HR support including HR inbox
  • Project work

About you

To succeed in this role, candidates will need to possess the following:

  • HR qualification - completed or working towards completion
  • Enthusiastic, passionate and genuinely interested in developing your HR skillset
  • Ability to deal with confidential information
  • Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Sound knowledge of MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent organization skills with proven ability to work autonomously and work well under time pressure
