Your role

In this internship program, you will:

• Drive security strategies for Vanguard to perform at its best and protect investors.
• Support achieving client outcomes and giving their investors the best chance at investment success.
• Share your insights and drive outcomes individually and in collaborative, supportive environments.
• Build a network with program managers, alumni, senior leaders and peers.
• Meet regularly with your department manager and internship program manager to receive personalized coaching and mentorship.

About you

What it takes:

• In pursuit of a bachelor's or master's degree with a concentration in computer science, computer engineering, IST, IT, CIS, Security, Risk, Cybersecurity or related technical/engineering subject matter required.
• Strong interest in security/threat analysis, fraud mitigation, and reporting.
• A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and/or leadership aspirations.
• Effective analytical, communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a team-oriented environment.

• The start date for this program will be May/June 2025.

Training & development 

As part of the Analyst track, you’ll play a crucial role in keeping Vanguard safe day in and day out Vanguard’s College to Corporate Internship Program is an immersive, hands-on experience at one of the world’s leading investment firms. Extensive training, real-world experience, hands-on opportunities and mentorship from professionals will all aid in broadening your technical expertise.

• You will gain hands-on experience in security strategy, risk mitigation, and digital ethics while practising Agile & LEAN methodologies.
• You’ll receive exposure to the software life cycle and positively impact your clients through exciting assignments. Make it count!
