They empower communities, businesses and local governments with sustainable market solutions to adapt to a challenging global marketplace while addressing the unique needs of Africa. They are currently developing two transformative products: Mapu, an analytical software that strengthens risk management and decision-making processes for investments in carbon credits, sustainable energy, agriculture, and forestry; and Portala, an African-sourced job placement network for Climate tech professionals.
As a Marketing Strategy Intern, you will play a vital role in developing a comprehensive marketing strategy for sustainability products as a service in Central and West Africa. Your main objective will be to create marketing plans that effectively cater to the needs of communities, local governments, and businesses, ensuring their access to climate finance is facilitated. Additionally, you will support the marketing efforts for Mapu and Portala, focusing on promoting their adoption and awareness among the target audience in the region.
Responsibilities
The 2-month, remote internship offers a collaborative experience with a dedicated team, providing hands-on opportunities to develop marketing strategies. Interns will enhance their research, analytical, and communication skills while gaining valuable insights in the sustainability, risk management, and Climate tech sectors. Additionally, the program facilitates networking opportunities with professionals in these fields.
