Your role
As an International Office Assistant, your main duties will include:
Being the first point of contact for inquiries and managing the team’s generic inboxes, responding to a wide range of inquiries from students, university colleagues, and external stakeholders in a timely and professional manner, and liaising with colleagues and other teams as appropriate.
Providing administrative support for partnership and sponsor-related activities.
Providing support for student recruitment activities and representing the University at virtual events as required.
Supporting the Link to Leeds scheme in recruiting and training ambassadors, allocating and briefing ambassadors on tasks, managing content on the external website, and updating internal resources for ambassadors.
Helping to deliver the Link to Leeds plan within set deadlines, coordinating content creation, managing social media channels, facilitating events, and liaising with teams across the university to promote activities.
Managing data collected through third-party lead capture, manipulating data as appropriate for upload to the CRM, for reporting and marketing purposes.
Adapting to different activities and processes to provide support to the team with ad-hoc tasks as required.

Qualifications and Skills:
Essential:
A University of Leeds student intending to undertake this role as a placement year as part of their degree.
Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills, the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and work under pressure whilst delivering high-quality work with attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication skills combined with excellent customer service and cultural awareness to build/maintain effective relationships with a wide variety of audiences.
An ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
Creative with an ability to solve problems using initiative and an adaptable approach.
Desirable:
Experience working with international students.
Experience in office work and carrying out a range of clerical tasks.
