About the role
This is an amazing opportunity for a recent graduate of the University of Derby to directly contribute to the success of current and future students of the university. Having graduated from a University of Derby program within the last two years, you will provide a key perspective to the university's Student Success Programme as you work closely with departments across the university on initiatives that support student success.
Principal accountabilities:
Contribute towards the curation and creation of both student-facing and academic-facing content, including, but not limited to, online guides, workshops, videos, livestreams, and podcasts, ensuring a particular focus on interactivity.
Utilizing web technology, maintaining a hub platform for relevant learning resources, and ensuring an effective user experience.
Build positive and effective relationships with colleagues across the Student Success program, working collaboratively to resolve issues and complete tasks.
Bring a student perspective to considerations of the user journey through the Develop@Derby resources, ensuring that students can access the right resources at the right time.
Coordinate the promotion of relevant learning resources to students in a variety of formats, including online and in-person.
Capture data and feedback in respect of relevant student-facing and staff-facing learning resources, by defined measures and benchmarks.
Maintain high levels of accuracy concerning data input.
Actively participate as a member of working groups and project teams across the Student Success Programme, to develop and implement policies and procedures, contribute towards decision-making, resolve issues, and implement assigned activities.
Actively promote and support inclusion through operational activities undertaken through the role.
Undertake personal and professional development in support of the role.
Be flexible with working patterns and in working at different University sites and supporting other library teams, as required.
Ensure compliance with relevant University policies and procedures.

During this program, you'll receive an induction to help you settle in, along with numerous training and development opportunities to support your professional growth. While working and studying, you'll curate, design, and develop resources for students and academic staff, including online guides, workshops, videos, livestreams, and podcasts.

Salary is from £22,011 to £22,021 per annum (For exceptional performers, there is scope for further progression up to £25,088 per annum)

Qualifications:
Applicants must be recent graduates of the University of Derby who have graduated from their University of Derby program within the last two years.
Experience:
Experience working in a customer service or office environment role.
Experience in developing own skills for study and/or employability.
Experience in producing online content.
