Your Role

As a part of the Optum tri-state, Pro-Health NY is seeking a Clinical Intern to help meet the standard for Respiratory Protection. This position is a field position that will require travel to Pro-Health locations.

Primary Responsibilities:  

• Work with Health and Safety team to meet Optum’s and OSHA standards for compliance 
• Interns will be trained in occupational health processes. They will be responsible for educating staff members on the proper use of N95s and ensuring they are fitted properly
• Document and upload fit testing data into an Occupational Health program
• Complete data entry and assist with department projects

Training & Development

Salary & Benefits

The hourly range for this role is $16.00 to $20.05 per hour.

About You

Required Qualifications:  

• Actively pursuing a degree in nursing, public health, healthcare administration, occupational health and safety, or a related field
• Access to reliable transportation and the ability to travel to Pro-Health New York clinic locations 
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization (F-1 students with practical training and candidates requiring H-1Bs, TNs, etc. will not be considered)
