Duties and responsibilities:
Organisational Setting and Reporting In its resolution A/RES/72/279, the United Nations General Assembly endorsed the transformation of DCO as a stand-alone coordination office within the United Nations Secretariat. DCO assumes managerial and oversight functions of the resident coordinator system under the collective ownership of the members of the United Nations Sustainable Development Group (UNSDG).
The position is located in the Communications and Results Reporting Section of the United Nations Development Coordination Office (DCO) Headquarters in New York and is for six (6) months. The Intern would work remotely under the supervision of the Digital Strategist and the Public Information Officers in the Communications and Results Reporting section.

English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For the internship, fluency in English is required. Knowledge of any additional official UN language is an advantage.
