Your role

This role will be supporting quality projects and driving site quality improvement activities for quality assurance and control, consumer safety & overall quality, and addressing consumer/customer issues. 

What You'll Do:

  • Supports on-site quality laboratories operating in accordance with applicable Good Laboratory practices and UL /external requirements, test methods, and general laboratory safety.
  • Supports product fill control through monitoring and verifying fill parameters and compliance.
  • Supports efforts to analyze quality data and trending for performance improvement. 
  • Supports efforts to verify and document compliance with regulatory requirements applicable to quality and consumer safety.
  • Provide support in product tests (analytical, allergen, ATP, and micro) and product release activities.
  • Provide support to enter quality data in SAP. 
  • Provide support on tasks related to Manufacturing Quality Incidents and E-incidents (investigation, recording, root causes, and coordination of actions closure)
  • Supports efforts to complete and maintain external and internal audits, GMP Inspections, and certifications.
  • Provide support for cleaning and disinfection verification and validation.   
  • Maintain and update micro testing results, plan, schedule, and follow-up on micro testing activities/follow-up actions regarding micro testing results.
  • Organization and filing of all Quality records submitted by hourly colleagues.
  • Prepare and create digital files for current and new Quality sheets.
  • Prepare and print production paperwork for the next day's production run.
  • Other duties as assigned. 

About you

What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • 3rd or 4th year Chemical Engineering, Biology, or Chemistry Student
  • Can work with minimal supervision and as an initiator.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and Power Apps.
  • Related experience in a technical / manufacturing environment is an asset but not required.
  • Able to contribute to a team-oriented environment and possess strong interpersonal skills.
  • Safety and Quality minded.
