Training & Development

UBS' Graduate Talent Program is 24 months long and is designed to help you develop the skills you need to grow your career. To start, the program introduces you to their firm, provides professional and technical training, and teaches you core skills and knowledge of the economy and current financial market trends. And it continues from there: by learning from your colleagues, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to develop new skills and build your network. If you’re ready to work where no two days are the same, this program is for you. With the chance to receive one-to-one coaching from some of the best in the industry, their 18-24 month Graduate Talent Program is the perfect way to start your career. Rotation is a key part of the program and through working with several different teams, you’ll learn about financial markets, what they offer to clients, and their day-to-day operations.

Career Progress

Throughout your time as a GTP, you’ll gain lots of new skills and knowledge through UBS's specially designed-technical training opportunities. This will ensure that you are in the best position to perform well within your role from the day you join your team.

You’ll also have the opportunity to improve and broaden your soft skills, to enable you to develop as a professional. This includes skills such as communicating with impact and personal branding. These skills will prove very important not only during your time at UBS but throughout the rest of your career.

Along with the skills you’ll gain, you will create a huge network of peers through the company's GTPNet. This is a committee of graduates who arrange socials and networking opportunities throughout the year for their GTP class. UBS finds that their GTP classes tend to become very close-knit and the relationships and networks they make during the GTP Program continue long into their careers.
