You’ll be working on the HOLT team which is part of Equity Research within the Investment Bank.
They are a team of individuals with advanced consulting, management, research, technology, and banking backgrounds who have access to software tools and some of the most sophisticated databases in the world.
They have a proven track record of understanding the valuation of equities with strong brand recognition across major institutional investors, hedge funds and wealth managers.
You’ll get to:
Conduct in-depth research and analysis on companies, industries, and market trends to support investment recommendations and decision-making processes
Assist with data collection, financial modeling, and valuation analysis
Prepare comprehensive research reports and presentations for stakeholders
Gain insights from the HOLT model to help generate industry and company-specific reports
Understand market signals and how they apply to the fundamental and quantitative investment process
About you
UBS is looking for a candidate who:
Is in their penultimate or final year of their bachelor's or master’s degree
Is on track for a 2.1 (UK grading system) or equivalent in their first undergraduate degree
Has values that align with ours: hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated, and collaborative
Has an interest in corporate valuation work and equity analysis with an interest in taking on a client-facing role
Is a strategic thinker with strong communication skills
Is motivated to work in a business with high demands and tight deadlines

Training & development
During your 10-week paid internship, you’ll work with the experts and learn about the industry, the clients, and the firm. You’ll be right at the heart of business, learning from your colleagues, and taking part in day-to-day operations. You'll be given mentors along the way and will have the chance to get to know some of the most senior members of teams. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to develop new skills and make contacts along the way along with your line manager and buddy who will work more closely with you day-to-day within your local business area.
