Your role

UBS looking for ambitious students to join the 2025 Off-cycle Internship Program within the Global Banking business.

You’ll get to:

  • Evaluate companies and develop models for M&A transactions
  • Prepare industry analyses for pitches
  • Get involved in the execution of live deals

Your Team:

You’ll be working in the Global Banking team. The team is responsible for providing coverage, advisory, capital markets, and financing solutions for corporations, financial institutions, and sponsor clients.

About you

UBS is looking for someone curious and wants to thrive in a business that never stops moving. The firm welcomes all majors, but it’s important to be interested in the financial industry.

UBS is also looking for a candidate who:

  • Is in the penultimate or final year of their degree, or has recently graduated (no more than 6 months from the internship start date)
  • Is on track for a 2.1 (UK grading system) or equivalent in their first undergraduate degree
  • Has values that align with the company, hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated, and collaborative
  • Is a strategic thinker with strong communication skills
  • Is motivated to work in a business with high demands and tight deadlines

Training & development

This paid internship will last three to six months. You’ll work with the experts and learn about the industry, the clients, and the firm. You’ll be right at the heart of the business, learning from your colleagues and participating in day-to-day operations. You'll be given mentors along the way and will have the chance to get to know some of the most senior members of the teams.

Career progression

This internship will give you plenty of opportunities to develop new skills and make contacts along the way. If you have a successful internship, you may get an offer to return to the Graduate Talent Program after you've completed your studies.
