Your Role

At UBS Asset Management, you will join a global team of around 3,500 experts, working alongside portfolio managers and product specialists across traditional and alternative asset classes as well as client relationship managers, analysts, and risk managers. 

You would have the opportunity to:

• Get to know the client base, understand and help service clients strategic objectives
• Learn UBS asset management products and services and assist with portfolio management
• Develop marketing materials, global content, and campaigns aimed at attracting new clients and investment
• Find, evaluate, and manage different investments through analysis, research, and modeling
• Integrate sustainable investing into UK Asset Management
• Enhance business processes and perform strategic project work

Your Team

You’ll have the opportunity to spend 12 months working in one of the following Investment areas:

• Equities
• Fixed Income
• Multi-Asset Investment Solutions
• Portfolio Engineering and Trading
• Hedge Fund Solutions

About You

You should be completing the Industrial Placement program as part of your studies and then graduating in 2027. You should also be on track for a 2:1.

Training & Development

From the moment you join UBS, you'll be supported by the welcoming Junior Talent team. They’ll be on hand throughout your internship for anything you might need, along with your line manager and "buddy", who will work more closely with you day-to-day within your local business area. Over the course of the program, you'll create a great network of peers!

Career Progression

This placement will last 12 months, during which you’ll work with experts and learn about the industry, clients, and the firm. You’ll be right at the heart of the business, learning from your colleagues, and taking part in day-to-day operations. You’ll also have plenty of opportunities to develop new skills and make contacts along the way. If you have a successful internship, you may get an offer to return to the Graduate Talent Program after you've completed your studies.
