You’ll get to:

  • Develop and implement technical solutions
  • Enable multi-tenant services like cluster management; security; resource and quota management; partitioning; monitoring chargeback; data governance; quality; and lineage
  • Provide transparency across data quality, data flows, and current issues to ensure applications are of the highest standards

The Graduate Talent Program is 24 months long and is designed to help you develop the skills you need to grow your career To start, the program introduces you to the firm, provides professional and technical training, and teaches you core skills and knowledge of the Group Operations and Technology Office. And it continues from there: by learning from your colleagues, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to develop new skills and build your network. If you’re ready to work where no two days are the same, this program is for you.

About you

  • Has values that align with theirs: hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated, and collaborative
  • Is a strategic thinker with strong communication skills
  • Is motivated to work in a business with high demands and tight deadlines
  • Looking for someone who’s curious and wants to thrive in a business that never stops moving.
  • All majors are welcome, but it’s important to have an interest in the financial industry.
  • UBS wants to see what makes you unique and discover what you can bring to their team.

Benefits

In addition to the pay, the following are the benefits for employees:

  • Mentoring and Buddy Opportunities: Access to mentoring across business areas for growth, knowledge, and networking.
  • Professional Development: Learn business-specific content, earn qualifications, and network through comprehensive training.
  • UBS University: Diverse learning with digital skills (blockchain, cloud computing, robotics, AI), mobile app, and Career Navigator.
  • Networking: Build a peer network with events throughout the program.
  • Employee Wellbeing: Competitive benefits for physical, mental, financial, and social well-being.

Training, development & rotations

At UBS, graduate trainees get hands-on technical training to excel in their roles from day one. They also work on soft skills like effective communication and personal branding, which are essential for their career growth. Plus, they get to network and make friends through GTPNet, creating connections that last well beyond the program. You’ll have the opportunity to see beyond your job by participating in one, or several, rotations.

Career progression

Throughout the 24-month GTP program, they go through the GTP Power Skills Curriculum, which is all about building important professional skills to succeed at UBS. When the program ends, trainees attend a Career Empowerment workshop to prepare for their next role at UBS, and they wrap it all up with a fun celebration event with their classmates and mentors, marking the start of their exciting careers.
