Your role

As an intern at UBS, you'll support teams with project tasks, conduct research, assist in preparing reports, participate in training, and gain exposure to various financial products and services.

Responsibilities

• Can work on real-world projects that impact the company and its clients.
• Collaborate with experienced engineers and analysts on developing and implementing advanced financial technologies.
• Participate in the design, development, and testing of software applications and systems.
• Gain exposure to cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and cloud computing.
• Analyze complex data sets to provide insights and support decision-making processes.
• Attend workshops, training sessions, and networking events with industry leaders and experts.
• Engage in sustainability and social impact projects, as UBS deeply cares about the environment and communities it operates.
• Present your projects and findings to senior management and stakeholders at the end of the internship.

Technology is central to UBS, playing a crucial role in developing, delivering, and maintaining IT systems and infrastructure that drive the Bank. The Technology organization aims to keep UBS competitive by creating innovative products and maintaining high-quality technology platforms. To support this mission, UBS is seeking talented and motivated interns for the summer to help shape the future of Banking Technology.

About you

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a bachelor’s program or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong programming skills in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, C++, or similar.
• Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• A proactive and results-driven mindset with a keen interest in financial markets and technology.
