Assist in the production, review and analysis of BASEL Capital Adequacy regulatory process controlling & reporting
Design & execute controls supporting the critical regulatory reports (Risk Weighted Assets, Leverage Ratio Denominator, Large Exposure etc.)
Execute report pre-submission checks, implement control procedures, and review regulatory reporting requirements
Execute and review key reporting controls (variance analysis, reconciliations etc.)
Bring in process efficiencies/improvements/data quality projects to strengthen controls and reduce manual adjustments
Assess the impact due to policy changes, new business initiatives and propose refinements to the control framework
Prepare due diligence review decks
Your team
You will be an integral part of the Finance organization and Capital Adequacy Team based at the Business Solutions Center, Pune, India.
The team focusses on the calculation, control, review & filing of key regulatory vectors in the Capital Adequacy Regulatory Reporting domain - e.g. Risk Weighted Assets (RWA), Leverage Ratio Denominator (LRD), Large Exposure Reporting/SACCR etc.
About you
Your expertise
A conceptual understanding of capital markets, financial instruments & accounting principles.
An overview of banking & regulatory risks like credit/counterparty credit (CCR)/market/operational/liquidity risk - [preferred].
MS Excel & MS PowerPoint skills to perform data analysis, results interpretation & presentation.
Any of the key technical skill sets to support opportunities in analytics, automation & robotics. (Advanced Excel/VBA, programming/coding (R/SAS/Python/other), Database-querying (PL-SQL)) - [preferred].
Attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
Exhibit a strong commitment to develop, maintain and abide by a strong control framework.
A strong team player, with a commitment to high quality under tight deadlines.
A good communicator, both verbal and written.
