The Level Design Intern is responsible for using their proprietary tools to support the Art and QA teams by ensuring the gameplay objects comply with the game’s technical constraints. They also support the Level Designers' day-to-day tasks by creating game objects, level blackouts, and scripting gameplay events.
The main tasks of the Level Design Intern are to:
Internalize design documents to understand how your level fits into the overall game experience based on the vision set by the Directors and Leads.
Create design documentation for game environments and player activities.
Collaborate and meet with other job disciplines to ensure that your level's gameplay, technical, and artistic elements are cohesive.
Create and/or model 3D design block-out objects for the team.
Create the geometry of a game location while using modular design principles.
Create gameplay events or interactive elements in the game location using visual scripting.
Playtest levels regularly and proactively gather feedback on your level to improve the player experience.
Proactively report bugs or design issues and participate in their resolution.
Provide regular updates to your Design Lead on your deliverables.
Carry out all other project-related tasks.
About you

Familiarity with 3D action-adventure, open-world games.
Good communication and interpersonal skills (able to listen, accept critique, and give constructive feedback).
Good analytical skills, critical sense, and curiosity.
Positive attitude and the ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment.
Fast learner, takes initiative, and meets deadlines.
Must be able to commit six (6) months of full-time and onsite internship.
