Established in 2016, tuktukrental.com is a Sri Lankan adventure travel social enterprise. Their mission is to uplift tuktuk owners' livelihoods by connecting them with travellers seeking authentic experiences, offering security, quality, and practicalities for tuktuk exploration in South Asia while sharing revenue with owners. They advocate for local-style travel, making renting a tuktuk in Sri Lanka as effortless as ordering a meal, and providing hassle-free, self-drive experiences for passionate travellers.

This program is dedicated to empowering you to support Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), actively contributing to global efforts for a more sustainable and equitable future through projects that offer insights into the world of social entrepreneurship.
There is a USD 2,000 program fee. This fee includes accommodation, local transportation within the program, program materials, workshops, and activities. It does not cover international airfare, visa fees (if applicable), personal expenses, or optional activities. This program runs from July 22 to August 2.

Eligibility
They welcome applications from any university students and young professionals, from any country, with a passion for social impact and cultural exploration. Prior experience in entrepreneurship or social work is not required, but a willingness to learn and engage deeply with the program activities is essential.
Language Requirements
English is the primary language of the program. While proficiency in Sinhala or Tamil is not required, a few basic phrases can enhance your interaction with local communities. They provide participants with a basic language guide as part of the pre-departure materials.
Applications can be submitted through their website. The application process includes a form detailing your background and motivations for joining the program, followed by an interview for selected candidates. They encourage early applications as spots are limited.
