Your role

Trane in Queensland is hiring a Graduate Sales Engineer to join their team.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing long-term customer relationships and maximizing account penetration and customer retention by developing HVAC system-related solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Work alongside other Sales Managers as part of a strong team.
• Generate estimates and proposals for service work under the direction of the Sales Managers.  
• Prepare transition documents and communicate project readiness for assignment to the operations team.
• Work cohesively in a team as well as on your own.
• Comfortable speaking to a wide audience, such as consultants and contractors equally.
• Travel to customer job sites is required, which may include outdoor work and/or work in mechanical/equipment rooms. During the site visits, the employee may be exposed to variable weather conditions; moving mechanical parts; heights, and other variable environmental conditions based on location.

About you

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, business or equivalent from a four-year college or university preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum one (1) year experience in Account Management, Mechanical Contracting/HVAC or Facilities Management fields preferred.
• Working knowledge of HVAC systems is preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
