About the role

Thiess has an opportunity for a Graduate Mechatronic Engineer to join their formal Graduate Program, commencing in February 2022.

As a graduate you will receive structured, on-the-job training, guided learning plans, soft skill development as well as access to mentoring programs. On our two-year program, you will receive up to two 12-month rotations in various roles and projects across Central Queensland, the Hunter Valley in New South Wales as well as our Corporate office in Brisbane.

The opportunity to rotate across our projects will provide you with a strong foundation to build your career.

About you

This role will suit someone who is:

  • Completing a tertiary qualification in a Mechatronic Engineering discipline at the end of 2021
  • Eager to learn new skills, flexible and adaptive
  • Keen to pursue a career in the resources industry and ready to make a positive impact
  • Is willing to relocate to various sites and projects, as required by program rotations
