We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate – Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) to join our Perth HSE team in 2022. You'll help us implement HSE practices, systems and procedures in the workplace – and we'll mentor you each step of the way to ensure you're set up for success! You'll also provide operational support to our Project Management and Leadership Teams and be an active champion of Jacobs' health and safety culture. You'll attend our Perth office to conduct safety walks and audits, and also have the option to conduct some of the work flexibly from home.

Ideally, by 2022 you’ll hold a Health & Safety and/or Environment tertiary qualification. This is a unique role that requires applicants hold Australian / New Zealand Citizenship or Australian Permanent Residency. The role is aligned with expectations with a variety of projects, teams, clients, and levels of detail.
Gets to design stuff from the start. If you like project management-type of work -go for it. Personally, I prefer design, so I let my team leader know that. Whenever something interesting comes up, he lets me know and checks if I might be interested in being involved.
My personal responsibilities are slightly less technical than I would like but I am still involved with very interesting work

Growth prospects, I am consistently guided on the best ways to grow and develop in my role. I have involvement in a variety of projects of different sizes with great autonomy, allowing me to learn quickly.
IT support is slow
As a smaller office in a large company, it often feels like we are left out from the rest of the company and that there can be a disconnect at times.
Hot desking - would be nice to have designated areas for the teams (as in the 10 desks here are all for X team)
Unpredictability of hours during projects however this is the nature of consulting.
