About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity to join Honeywell as a Graduate Engineer working within our Building solutions division.

Honeywell Building Solutions:

You will work with critical building systems, including security systems, HVAC BMS systems, networking, often on site, learning to make decisions and run customer sites with less hands-on guidance. This may include installing and maintaining security, building automation, life safety and energy management systems. You will become a trusted service advisor to our variety of customers. You’ll enjoy a wide range of experiences across commercial and government buildings, health care facilities, airports and correction facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, install, maintenance and repair of Security, CCTV, Access Control, HVAC BMS and Third-Party Systems.
• Project management of service projects and small works including high level of customer management and ensuring project milestones are achieved.
• Technical consulting, design and implementation support to the service business and customers.
• Working with customers to understand process and design needs.
• Develop software, perform ‘bench testing’ and actively assist in the start-up if required.
• Management of suppliers and sub-contractors
• Ensuring adequate records are generated and maintained, documenting the engineering process undertaken and following engineering procedures.

Key Experience & Capabilities:

• Relevant Undergraduate Degree – Engineer (Electrical/Electronic, Instrument & Control with an interest in Computer Sciences, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Communications, Mechatronics or Data Sciences) completed in the 2 years preceding the start date for the Graduate role, February 2024.
• Strong Communication and interpersonal skills
• Think on your feet.
• Customer focused and problem-solving skills.
• Curiosity
