By working as a commercial graduate within Honeywell Building Solutions you can make a difference in vital areas of our society such as education, the industrial sector, healthcare and government sectors.  At the forefront of the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), Honeywell impacts our lives with controls for air conditioning equipment and controls; security management systems, life safety and fire alarm systems, industrial controls, energy management; and general building management systems and services. The HBS teams install, maintain and upgrade systems that enable our customers to become more competitive through improved building and process performance. 

Graduates joining the commercial stream will be responsible for ensuring strategic decision-making and key business initiatives are supported through deep market analysis and statistical modelling and trends. During the two-year program, you will rotate across two functional areas that include 

  • Strategy
  • Operations
  • Service
  • Customer
  • Sourcing
  • Pricing.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Complex data analysis and reporting
  • Strategic modelling to improve business performance
  • Complex problem-solving to support business growth
  • Digital transformation
  • Implementation of process and systems
  • Business reporting and financial analysis
  • Operational communications
  • Subcontractor management
  • Development of cost estimate during the proposal phase
  • Establish detailed procurement plan post-booking
  • Commodity Management

Note: Travel to worksites (local and remote, with opportunities for out-of-country travel where available/necessary). 

Key Experience & Capabilities: 

  • Relevant Undergraduate Degree – Commercial/Business related degree completed in the 2 years preceding the start date for the Graduate role, February 2023.

  • The anticipated start date would be Feb 2024
  • Permanent Residency in Australia or New Zealand, or Citizenship is required. Student and bridging visas will not be accepted
