We have multiple Graduate Engineer opportunities available. They would be focused on delivery of work to existing customer sites. The service graduate role is responsible for servicing customer sites, maximising customer satisfaction and minimising customer site downtime by providing exceptional support.

We have these opportunities available under different businesses within Honeywell

 In Honeywell Building Solutions, you will work with critical building management systems, HVAC systems, networking and security systems often on site, learning to make decisions and run customer sites with less hands-on guidance. This may include installing and maintaining building automation, security, life safety and energy management systems. You will become a trusted service advisor to our variety of customers. You’ll enjoy a wide range of experiences across commercial and government buildings, health care facilities, airports and correction facilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service maintenance and repair of HVAC, CCTV, Access Control, Security, and Third-Party Systems
  • Project management of service projects and small works including high level of customer management and ensuring project milestones are achieved.
  • Technical consulting, design and implementation support to the service business and customers.
  • Working with customers to understand process and design needs
  • Management of suppliers and sub-contractors
  • Ensuring adequate records are generated and maintained, documenting the engineering process undertaken and following engineering procedures

In Honeywell Process Solutions, you will support the service and install across a large variety of industrial solutions – including provision of site support service, sales and internal technical communication, and responsibility for small project implementation. The work is diverse and challenging. Work involves Honeywell SCADA, PLCs and DCSs, along with advanced software applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Entire lifecycle management of systems including Planned Maintenance, patching of systems for security improvements and projects
  • Implementation of control systems projects, typically using Honeywell TDC/TPS, Experion, HPM, C200/C300 controller, supervisory systems, and/or third party PLC controllers.
  • Implementation of projects using Honeywell and third-party tools and processes.
  • Small Project Management - Projects are delivered on time, on budget and to the desired quality standards.
  • Familiarity with wide variety of industrial plants & applications as applicable to control systems

In Total Asset Management, you will have to work closely with the Portfolio Manager and the boarder TAM Leadership Team. The purpose of this role is to support the Asset, Engineering and Technical Function for Total Asset Management. This role requires strong engagement with Contract site teams and Asset Managers to provide support, advice, solutions and technical support in the areas of key operations, lifecycle works, and project work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to peers, which may include other technical representatives, Account Managers, Project Engineers etc
  • Attend to priority emergency service for troubled site(s)
  • Utilise more complex diagnostic procedures, specialised test equipment or software packages
  • Technical consulting, design and implementation support to the business and customers.
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure the delivery of a consistent and high level of service to minimize down-time
  • HSE assessments are carried out and updated annually for all contracts and projects
  • Development and maintenance of site-specific documentation and quality assurance information
  • Technical understanding of engineering task, problem analysis of possible options to meet customer  needs

Key Experience & Capabilities:

  • Relevant Undergraduate Degree – Engineer (Chemical, Oil &Gas/Petroleum/ Mining, Computer Sciences, Data Sciences, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or Data Sciences) completed in the 2 years preceding the start date for the Graduate role, February 2023.
  • Strong Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Think on your feet
  • Customer focused and problem-solving skills
