Your role:

We have multiple Graduate Engineer opportunities available within Honeywell in various locations: Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Gladstone, Perth, Hobart.

Building Automation:

  • You will work with critical building management systems, HVAC systems, networking, and security systems often on site, learning to make decisions and run customer sites with less hands-on guidance.
  • This may include installing and maintaining building automation, security, life safety and energy management systems.
  • You will become a trusted service advisor to our variety of customers. You’ll enjoy a wide range of experiences across commercial and government buildings, health care facilities, airports and correction facilities.
     
  • Project management of service projects and small works including high level of customer management and ensuring project milestones are achieved.

Process Solutions:

  • Honeywell Process Solutions (HPS) provide automation and control solutions that help industrial customers run their operations safely, reliably, efficiently and sustainably through innovative technologies, services and domain expertise.
  • This role also involves execution of fixed scopes of work on projects and development of further engineering skills. 
  • The work is diverse and challenging. Work involves Honeywell SCADA, PLCs and DCSs, along with advanced software applications.
  • This will involve implementing defined parts of standard engineering solutions under the close supervision of other project engineers and assisting in the development of new or non-standard solutions.

Skills and Experience

  • Relevant Undergraduate Degree – Engineer (Chemical, Automation, Instrument & Control, Oil &Gas/Petroleum/ Mining, Computer Sciences, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or Data Sciences) completed in the 2 years preceding the start date for the Graduate role, February 2024.
  • Strong Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to think on your feet
  • Customer focused and problem-solving skills
  • Curiosity

  • Permanent Residency in Australia or New Zealand, or Citizenship is required.
