Your role

Gen Physio has been a part of the Queensland community for almost 10 years, providing the highest level of care to our amazing clients. They are excited to welcome new graduate Occupational Therapists from across Moreton Bay to join their New Graduate Occupational Therapy program for 2025.  Their OT new grad program supports you in gaining an insight into a diverse range of care; from assessment and early intervention with children & adults, FCAs, home mods, assistive technology, online health options and so much more - they love supporting Clinicians to find their areas of interest!

About you

Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapist & AHPRA registration
  • National Police Check, First Aid, and CPR (or willing to obtain) 
  • Public Indemnity (PI) Insurance with a minimum of $10m cover (or willing to obtain) 
  • NDIS Workers screening (or willing to obtain) 
  • Current driver's license
  • Ability to legally work in Australia

Salary & Benefits

Gen Physio is well-recognised for offering:

  • The base salary for this role is AUD 80,000, with a total package including an 11.5% superannuation of AUD 89,200
  • Flexible working - if it's full-time/part-time/9-day fortnight/early finish Fridays - they'll make it work for you!
  • $8,000 annual vehicle allowance (paid each fortnight)
  • $2,000 professional development allowance + 3 days study leave

Training, development & rotations

The new graduate program offers 1:1 weekly supervision with experienced OT Supervisors for as long as needed, providing caseload support throughout. Team discipline-specific meetings with the Gen Physio OT team help navigate complex cases, with group learning led by industry professionals. Regular skills assessments gradually build caseloads based on education and interests, and MDT catch-ups with OTs, Speeches, Physios, PODs, Dietitians, and Exercise Physiologists foster collaboration.
