Join our Graduate Program as a Graduate Analyst within Forensic Services team, from February 2026!
Our Forensics Services team help mitigate and resolve high-risk matters involving investigations, forensic technology, analytics, and forensic accounting and help organisations create and embed governance frameworks to retain value.
What you’ll do:
As a Forensic Services Graduate at BDO, you can expect to:
- Participate in fraud and or misconduct investigations
- Assist with drafting key documentation on engagements and tenders
- Assist with conflict checks and client set up
- Assist with anti-money laundering reviews and dispute matters including family law
- Assist with forensic technology matters.

What you’ll offer:
- You will be in your final year, or have recently completed an Accounting, Finance, Economics, Engineering or relevant or postgraduate degree
- Your ability to commence full-time in February 2026.

I am given a fair amount of responsibility, and plenty of support to learn.
Checking emails, liaising with clients to receive information on their R&D activities, writing/drafting activities according to AusIndustry guidelines/ITAA legislation. Calculating financial incentives and meeting with clients.
Admin tasks including note taking, setting up meeting and powerpoint/word templates, writing and research tasks

Pros
The culture in and out of the office is great.
My colleagues are always willing to get out of their way to help me.
Great opportunity to learn. People are nice and not getting annoyed when I ask questions.
Never any pressure to stay late.
The training is great, I have learned a lot in my time here.
Cons
Pay is relatively low, however this is industry-wide.
The graduate program doesn't rotate us through all the service lines.
Some managers are great and give constructive feedback. Others do not provide you with proper instructions.
Dishwashers are small... toilets are not flushed... desk are most of the time dirty.
Could include more women, however this is the industry.
