Your role

Internship Duration: 4 to 6 Months

Airbus IP Analytics and Intelligence in Bangalore, India, is a key part of the Airbus Intellectual Property Department. The team analyzes patent data and external sources like technical and business intelligence, social media, and demographic data to gain insights into technology strategies, behaviors, and commercial planning of companies within the ecosystem.

Job scope (core activities):

• Extract data from multiple databases, screen the extracted data, and analyze it.
• Derive valuable insights from the analyzed data, including:
  • Forecasting technology direction
  • Monitoring competitor's technology movements
  • Conducting whitespace analysis
  • Identifying potential technology collaborators
  • Alerting management on business risks
• Prepare a comprehensive report on technology development and protection strategies.

About you

Required Expertise:

• Deep knowledge of AI anatomy and related technologies
• Understanding of aerospace concepts, including aircraft ground and in-flight operations, avionics, and related technologies
• Basic understanding of intellectual property, particularly patents, and their significance for companies
• Proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace
