Acacia Energy is a division of our company that is a trusted and innovative business delivering solutions assisting companies to take control of their energy usage in a rapidly transitioning energy market. 

The opportunity requires focusing on promoting and building the brand of several products within the group. The role provides opportunity to take the lead on an emerging community led marketing project alongside leading environmental change within the community.

Key responsibilities:

• Posting on social media channels
• Create and maintain internal and external marketing material
• Create and post case studies
• Assist the sales & engineering teams with marketing content required for their work
• Write and send quarterly email campaign
• Write blog posts for website around topics relevant to the field including press releases
• Liaise with marketing staff from clients and suppliers on joint posts/case studies
• Design social media content and other online collateral
• Video/photo editing for case studies/ social media posting

Qualifications:

• Tertiary degree in Marketing/ Communications/ Public Relations or similar
• Those who have been in a similar role for 1-2 years, and/or graduates who have completed WIL/internships and part time work while studying in hands-on positions encouraged to apply

Requirements/Knowledge:

• A “research and learn” attitude
• Linked In, Facebook – general social media knowledge – posting, hashtags, tagging and the ability focused tone throughout content
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Design skills appreciated, but not necessary (Canva or similar)
• Previous experience with WordPress before would be a major plus (editing, not web design)
• Good time management skills and is very task oriented
• The ability to multitask – often needing to pick up something time sensitive, then get back to other tasks
• A passion for the renewable energy industry a bonus, but not deal-breaker.
